Services

At Blue Hills Behavioral Services, LLC, we focus on mental health support for children and their families. In addition, we offer supervision for students and early career professionals, particularly those pursuing licensure and accreditation in psychology and behavioral analysis. We conduct diagnostic testing, including differential diagnostics, IQ, Achievement, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum assessments. Additionally, we provide limited individual therapy and parent therapy sessions. Our unique approach comes from years of teaching and hospital-based practice with expertise in psychological functioning and sociel-emotional and behavioral factors, dedicated to your mental wellness and professional growth.

Individual Therapy

Sometimes a few conversations can lead to big changes. Our individual therapy sessions are focused and effective, designed to meet personal goals in a limited number of sessions.

Fees

Please review the fee schedule based on your service type.


  • Supervision - $150 per hour
    • (group rate is prorated based on the number of participants)
  • Diagnostic/neuropsychological assessments - $300 per hour
    • expect about 10 hours per full assessment
    • Limited batteries, such as IQ only, are approximately 3 hours.
  • Individual and parent therapy - $175 per hour

What types of diagnostic testing do you offer?

We offer a range of diagnostic testing, including IQ tests, achievement assessments, and screenings for ADHD and Autism Spectrum. Our team is equipped to provide various cognitive tests to understand your unique needs and help tailor solutions just for you.

Do you offer supervision for psychology licensure?

Yes, we provide supervision for students and early career professionals working toward psychology licensure. Our experienced team, including a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst with a PhD and a Master’s, is here to guide you through the process and support your professional growth.

How many therapy sessions do you offer for individuals?

We provide a limited number of individual therapy sessions tailored to your needs. Our goal is to offer the support you need while focusing on creating positive and lasting changes.

What qualifications do the staff have?

Our staff is led by Caitlyn Sorensen-Kowalski, with exceptional qualifications. She is a  Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a PhD, in clinical psychology. She has years of experience with children and families, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to support your mental health and professional development needs.

Can you help with career guidance for early professionals in psychology?

Yes, we specialize in supporting early career professionals in psychology. Our team offers guidance and supervision to help you navigate the path to licensure and build a successful future in the field.

Do you offer parent therapy/family therapy?

An integral part of child therapy is parent therapy. Yes, this team can offer parent management therapy and support. 

Do we take insurance?

We do not yet take insurance, but are working with paneling with Michigan-based insurance companies. Please refer to the fees on the services page.
